I am always “on the go” between my job, school and home. I always fill a bag with a small knitting project, my kindle, study notes and class materials for those in-between class and appointment times. This beautifully patterned Zelda is just PERFECT for all of my special items…Zelda would put me at the “head of the class!”
and….. the Roseville pattern evokes a happy yearning for spring!

This bag would be a wonderful gift for my mother’s 92nd birthday…..her colors! Mom knit socks for Dad during the war in the 40’s. She made blankets, sweaters, and mittens (how many mittens can 9 kids wear and lose?) for our New England winters. My obsession with knitting has sparked Mom to pick up the needles again, and it would be great to gift her such a special bag.

Love the Saratoga. I’d make this my go to bag. Not to big, not too small. Would fit my all my necessary items, plus my Nook when I take have it with me. I have a couple circular knitting clutches along with two Daisy market bars that I use all the time. Love your bags!

The Zelda tote is a classic and beautifully functional. I love the cross body strap. A must to comfortably tote my iPad, lunch and knitting. Always knitting baby sweaters for the next new mom. Never leave home without a project. Perfect tote for a busy working woman.

Would be such a nice transition from diaper to classy knitting bag!

My diaper bag has seen many a wonderful days but a well-deserved retirement would be so very welcomed.

I’m a new knitter and can’t believe all the time I have to make up!

What fun, what fun!

What would I put in it? What wouldn’t I put in it?

My first venture into socks for the girls, the bitty dress I’m finishing, my favorite knitting essentials, all my favorite “future” patterns I’ve printed off to peruse, knitting book of new stitches to practice which I turn into to dishcloths, all the knitted gift projects on needles.

I may be a rookie knitter but I couldn’t be a happier one!

A Facebook friend of mine shared this incredible giveaway, as she was a previous winner. So, I had to come check out all the hoopla!

This is a beautiful tote!!! As a busy mom of 3 (the youngest being 6 months old) and an avid knitter, I could totally use a stylish bag to carry a small project and still have plenty of room for some personal belongings as well as some necessities for the baby. I may be able to ditch the clunky diaper bag for something much more functional!!!

The Roseville pattern is lovely, and I may just have to pick up one in a different colorway…Tegan and Saratoga are great!!

Thanks for hosting such a fun giveaway, now off to peruse your website and do some Facebook sharing!

This is for my daughter, she would like to jump into the fray.

“I would like to win this for my Nana, she only has two bags. She usually carries perfume, gum, her reading glasses, her phone, her wallet. i think she should carry a puzzle for us kids and lots and lots of books. Fantasy mostly…. It would be nice if she carried a game in it too. Maybe a flash light too because she’s afraid of the dark. She reads her bible, so maybe a small bible. I think she keeps earrings and a small makeup bag. She would like a new purse. She thought my mama’s new purse was pretty, so i think she would like Roseville. Thank you.”

The Saratoga pattern is so very lovely. I would have used it to stash a book and maybe a crafty project for when I wait in the torturous school pick up line. Do you have any idea how many people drive right past all the cars waiting in line and just jump right in at the finish line? BACK OF THE LINE, FRIEND – only no one tells them that. And then there’s the ridiculous number of people who get to school maybe 45 minutes before the kids are let out, just to wait in line. And then there’s me. With the squirmy 3 yr old trapped in her carseat. We have to time it just right. Not too early so she gets super restless. Not too late so the poor older girls are stuck waiting outside for long in the -11 windchill. So I’d toss in a snack and and a sippy cup (YES. I am fully aware she should drink out of regular cups now.) And probably a few books for her, because God save us all if she falls asleep. That’s what I WOULD have done with that very lovely bag. But don’t you think Rosemary should have it for chemo instead of a tattered old LL Bean bag? I imagine it would brighten the room right up, although I doubt it would as much as Rosemary herself. She sounds like a lovely person, and I wish her well.

This would hold a block baby afghan I need to finish, Brittany wooden needles (walnut-no longer available), Heal my Hands lotion bar, Heal my Feet lotion bar, knitted slippers (for my feet after a good application of lotion bar), EOS lip balm, Chai latte pods, Mary Snyder hand-forged abacus, Big Yarn silver needle sizer, Big Yarn silver darning needle, iPad with my KnitCompanion app (best ever), Goose Pond sheep gauge, Lantern Moon sheep tape measure, HiyaHiya dumpling case with stitch markers, and I’d course Bose noise canceling headphones to listen to favorite music or downloaded book on iPad or iPhone!! I love Larissa’s Offhand Designs bags. I have two, needle storage wrap, circulars wrap and two purses. Of course, I have had them for many years and can attest for the beauty, workmanship and durability. They still look like new after all these years and I never fail to receive raves wherever I take them!!

My items that I would tuck inside are pretty ordinary: my current sock project and pattern, knitting tools, etc. But Zelda would make me smile every time I reached for her. Her soft touch, classic shape, and rich colors would be so much nicer than a rustlely zip-lock plastic bag.

I love Offhand Designs Bags – Especially the Zeldas! I would use this for my current knitting project, and as a handbag. I especially like the Sara Jane colorway.

I had a very clever poem for you as I love this bag BUT then I read rosemary Capitolo’s comments about filling up the bag to take to chemo. So you good folks do not get my clever poem because Rosemary deserves the Rose ville. When she fills the bag with all her stuff to take to chemo tell her she has all my prayers and good thoughts tucked into one pocket.

Zippers enough to spare
Elegant houndstooth paired with
Lovely floral fantasy
Daydreaming…how many ways
A girl might use a bag like this?

I could use it for my knitting, sure…
Never have enough lovely bags to hold

Rolls of sweet soft yarn
On special pointy needles
So soothing to knit with
Evoking calm and peaceful thoughts
Very much loved and prized creations
Invoking feelings of love warming
Love…knit into every stitch
Love…spilling over like sparking
Effervescence…magic!

This Roseville pattern is so elegant. I will use it as a knitting bag when I go to trainings, meetings, and seminars at work. Everyone will think I have a beautiful handbag. Then if appropriate to knit while there I will pull out my knitting. I win no matter what!

Oh so lovely!!! As I get older, I find that hues of pink might just be my friend, so this gorgeous Roseville bag would definitely do double duty! I absolutely love using my OHD bags as unique handbags, so this would be no exception. However…since I’ve deemed 2014 as the year of the sweater, it would definitely be shelter for a sweater project too! So gorgeous! Thanks for the chance and happy new year!!

Forgot to say I would use this tote a LOT for my everyday activities which include knitting, reading, needlepoint. I’m going to be helping a friend for a few weeks and this would be a useful and lovely help to me as I help my friend recover from some medical procedures. I’ll be spending a lot of time waiting around in doctors offices!

My name is Rosemary.Roseville pattern. It would be karma to win it. I have been taking a ratty LLBean bag with me to chemo. If I had your gorgeous bag, I would have a bottle of water, tissues, small snacks, my IPhone, my IPad, my Kindle, a low brow celebrity magazine, a warm hat for my bald head and a light wrap for when it gets cold. And….a small sock project
Then I would sit back and watch all the infusion nurses be majorly jealous. Happy New Year and thanks for the beauty of your projects.

This is a stunning pattern, so old world and yet very sophisticated with the checks. Just love it and would love to be the winner. I had a Zelda a few years ago but gave it to a friend who was just in love with it and couldn’t afford to buy one for herself. Now that I’m retired I don’t treat myself as much. I have a smaller version of the Zelda (can’t remember the name) but would just be in Heaven to have a larger and so gorgeous tote! Happy New a Year to all of you!

OH OH – I do adore the Roseville pattern. I must confess I ordered a Zelda in early December – Christmas gift for moi’ – LOVE it – and it is large enough for my mini Ipad, a bottle of water if I dare to put one in my lovely new bag. Currently I have 2 large balls of yarn and 1 smaller balls of yarn – a full size magazine and two small projects . My glasses are always tucked in a pocket and if I’m traveling light, my small wallet with my DL, some $$ and a C/C will tuck into a pocket – it’s an awesome style – just the right size. I would LOVE to win Roseville – I came so very close to ordering that color and could kick myself every time I see it. Cheers and Happy New Year to Offhand/Sage. Melody
